Baby Blanket Fischersund

Our Baby Blanket showcases illustrations by Co-Founder and Creative Director Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir, depicting Reindeer Moss that was traditionally used for fever relief in children. Available in limited seasonal colors, this blanket is designed to provide a healing effect when wrapped around a loved one. The remedy was sourced from an old Icelandic book called Íslenskir Þjóðhættir.  It was advised that if a child was suffering from a fever, put reindeer moss in warm milk and wrap them in a wool blanket to promote recovery.
